Linear Actuators

						Small lightweight dc motor actuators with ACME lead screws and integrated built in preset micro switches for end stop. The actuators also have an internal diode wiring which enables the change of direction by simply reversing the applied voltage polarity. In case of adjusting the stroke length customized actuators are available. The integral limit switches are not made to be adjustable. Speed and force can be reduced by lowering the applied voltage and overload can be protected by limiting the current to the actuator. Absolute or incremental position feedback is possible using the potentiometer or hall sensor models. Transformers and hand set controls are also available.

Brushless DC Motors

						Transmotec brushless dc motors covers a large range of miniature sized motors to heavy duty models. The designs include both round and square shaped motor bodies. All motors include hall-effect sensors for phase shift commutation. Standard data motors are kept in stock for quick delivery and customized motors are offered upon request. Typical customizations and configurations are typically different windings, cable and connections, shaft outputs, assembly to gear heads and encoders etc.

DC Motors 1W-1000W

						Transmotec brush commutated dc motors designed for mass production at low cost also called tin can types. The motors are offered with either metal or carbon brushes and have integrated electric noise reduction filters. We welcome to make customizations. DC Motor drivers

						Transmotec dc motor drivers are high performance PWM drivers for 12, 24, and 36 volt battery powered equipment providing smooth control. The advanced design permits a substantial increase in the equipment running time between charges over conventional techniques. Features include adjustable maximum speed, minimum speed, current limit, I.R. compensation, and acceleration. The adjustable current limit feature protects the control, battery, and motor from sustained overloads. The higher capacity models provide thermal protection.

Solenoids

						Solenoids are electromechanical components consisting of a wounded coil that are shaped around a freely moving steel or iron plunger. When the solenoid is connected to a voltage the current will generate a magnetic field which will apply a force on the plunger. The force direction will point to the centre of the solenoid. The solenoids plunger force is a linear function of the current through the coil but is also strongly depending on the distance of the center of the plunger and the center of the solenoids.
